Learning…with added sparkle!

We believe that learning should go further than just the National Curriculum, we want to make your child’s first experience of school something to remember! We have a statutory duty to ensure that we teach content that makes up the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum (2014), but we also know that what makes school special, particularly during the Early Years and Key Stage 1, it is the added extras…the memorable trips and experiences…the sparkle! These are the things that make memories and secure learning and the give children curiosity the learn more.

With that in mind, when designing the content of our curriculum, we challenged our teachers to come up with added ‘Sparkle’ to help enrich and deepen the children’s experiences in their learning.
